Great Britain's exit from the European Union led to the creation of a directive on equipment intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres valid for the UK, this regulation is defined as UKEX.

Although UKEX approval is not yet mandatory, Nuova General Instruments has already obtained this certification thanks to quality audits and product checks. UKEX certification is an added value for all those products marketed in the UK.

The Nuova General Instruments safety valves are compliant for group 1, 2 fluids, both in the gaseous, vapor and liquid state, and are suitable for installation in areas classified as explosive 1, 2, 21, 22.
